If you suffer from headaches or migraines, Chiropractic treatment can be very effective in reducing or eliminating your symptoms and is a great alternative or adjunct to medication.
Jaw pain from clenching, grinding, or other causes can be very painful and often result in headaches. This pain often comes from the dysfunction of the Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) and irritated surrounding musculature. Treatment of jaw pain includes soft tissue therapy to relax the surrounding muscles and gentle mobilization of the TMJ to ensure proper movement.
Back pain is a leading cause of disability worldwide, but it is very treatable. We treat the root cause of back pain to help you recover quickly and educate you to avoid re-injury. Chiropractic care is recommended as a first line treatment before considering surgery.
Did you know that Chiropractors treat more than just the spine? We treat the arms and legs too. If you suffer from pain in any of your joints, including your shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, or ankles we can help with that too!
If you experience joint pain an/or numbness and tingling in your upper or lower limbs, it is often caused by muscular pain, muscular referred pain, and muscles entrapping nerves. Targeting these specific muscles can alleviate pain and referral symptoms and release the nerves to eliminate numbness and tingling without surgery.
Do your feet cause you pain when you walk? Is it difficult to step out of bed in the morning? Foot pain is often caused by muscular and joint problems. Treatment and advice on proper footwear most often alleviates foot pain without surgery.
Pregnancy is a time when the body is changing rapidly to adjust and prepare for what is to come. Pain and dysfunction are often due to changes in muscles and joints as they accomodate. This pain can usually be relieved by manual therapy, chiropractic manipulative therapy and physical therapy. Our clinic has special pregnancy pillows to enable us to treat patients at any stage of pregnancy.
Pelvic Floor Therapy is a specific type of physical therapy for problems related to the basket of muscles and nerves that supports your internal organs at the base of your abdominal cavity within your pelvis.
Symptoms of pelvic floor disorders include pain in and around the vagina, low back, or tail-bone, and may be worsened with sexual intercourse or during a bowel movement. Treatment of the pelvic floor typically includes an internal exam similar to that at an Ob/Gyn, however treatment can be done without if the patient is not comfortable. Patients who most often are referred to a Pelvic Floor Therapist include those who are currently or are trying to become pregnant, those who have had children, or those with urinary dysfunction.
For Pelvic Floor Therapy, please schedule with Dr. Leah Dash, who is a certified Pelvic Floor Therapy provider.
Children go though constant changes during development, and our goal is to help support them along the way. In the early stages of growth we focus on developmental checks, latch issues, constipation, and other issues. For older children the focus moves to postural issues, conditions similar to those of adults, and activity specific needs.
